Nicky Trevithick

National Business Development Manager
Nicky has spent an extensive amount of time with the New Zealand Police. With the last two years of her career in the Police, Nicky focused on education. It was there that Nicky was able to educate the Students on the impact that decisions, good or bad, have. Nicky was responsible for delivering programs within the Schools to the Student such as the D.A.R.E (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and the S.A.D.D (Students Against Drink Driving) programs. Nicky’s key role was to develop relationships not only with the students but with the School, and this lead into the wider Community.

After gaining skills in teaching and education, Nicky left NZ Police in 2004, transferring her skills and becoming one of the pioneers in Workplace Drug and Alcohol Education and Drug and Alcohol testing. Nicky still enjoys testing and this has made her one of the longest (if not the longest) still serving Drug and Alcohol testers in New Zealand.

Nicky’s practical experience and industry knowledge has made her an expert and leader in the Drug and Alcohol industry, consulting and advising with law firms, EMA (Employment Manufactures Association) helping small, medium and cooperate organisations with Drug and Alcohol Policy advice and development around process.

Nicky also delivers the NZQA unit standards 25511 and 25458 in Drug and Alcohol Screening and collection, her unique practical experience has given Nicky the ability to pass her knowledge onto others lifting the bar in the industry.
