WorkCare are regarded as experts and leaders in the Drug and Alcohol testing industry. We have developed a training package that complements our client’s needs, as Drug and Alcohol policies will vary from organisations so will our training. We have a limited number of specialised presenters who not only have experience in the industry but are trained in how to deliver adult education (NZQA 7108 and 7115). This is so that the consistency will remain the same and there is no variance or misinterpretation in the message that is conveyed to the team.

We have various drug and alcohol educational courses, for both employee and employer. It is our goal to educate people on the affects drugs and alcohol have on employees’ health and companies’ revenue.

Management Training

During this 1 day training course, we stress the importance of identifying and managing risk in the workplace. What types of Drug test are out there, the difference between a Urine drug test v Oral fluid, We also cover how to implement a drug testing program, risks around not following your Drug and Alcohol policy and how to insure you can learn from case law around drug and alcohol testing.

Reasonable grounds or reasonable cause apart from the pre-employment Drug tests is one of the most important tests any company can introduce, but rarely used with some company’s never doing one, this is also where most company’s get into trouble and with a lot more case law around drug testing now it is important to get this right.

Community Education

We offer a number of programs aimed at helping youth and community members avoid getting caught up in drug use. These programs educate individuals on the effects drugs and alcohol has on the community. Looking at offering a service to help schools and caregivers from Drug and Alcohol Testing for welfare to educating schools on drug use.
